WORK TASKS Adult education, like all educational activities in Osby Municipality, is characterized by professionalism, commitment, joy, and learning, both in interactions with students and with colleagues. You work together with teacher colleagues, study and career counselors, and other actors with standard teaching responsibilities. The SFI teacher assignment includes planning, implementation, follow-up, and grading. Collaborative learning and development of the activities are at the center. Osby komvux is a small unit where we work flexibly. If you are interested in becoming an important resource for newly arrived immigrants on their various paths toward work and participation in society, then this is a position for you. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: * is qualified and certified as an SFI teacher. * has previous experience working as an SFI teacher. * is well-versed in school law, curricula, course plans, and grading criteria. * enjoys sharing your knowledge and experience. * can and wants to work flexibly. * works with a focus on collaborative learning. * is experienced with or willing to work digitally. Non-certified teachers may be considered if qualified in other ways. Personal suitability is important. Other competency requirements: It is advantageous if you are also qualified in SvA (Swedish for Immigrants) at basic level and/or another subject. Experience teaching at all levels/tracks is advantageous. You are curious and interested, flexible, and solution-focused. You are a relationship builder who can motivate and engage both students and colleagues. You have good collaboration skills, great drive, and are organized. You are independent and take responsibility. We are looking for someone with an interest in multiculturalism and education and who is passionate about SFI teaching. This position is a substitute position. Employment Type: Permanent employment. Duration: Start date: August 3, 2026. Starts August 3 or by agreement. There is an opportunity to combine the work with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment will be made based on the organization's needs.
