We are looking for Serving Staff for Bistro Kärnhuset at Kiviks Musteri, seasonal temporary position About the Positions Our destination in Kivik is our brand's showcase, consisting of the Musteri Shop, Bistro Kärnhuset, Äpplets Hus, and our gardens and orchards. As a team member at Kärnhuset, you play a key role in our guests' food and beverage experience. We have many wonderful team members in place for the summer, but we are now looking for a few more stars who want to work with us this summer. We promise that it will be an educational and memorable summer at Kiviks Musteri with pleasant colleagues in our beautiful environment! Your responsibilities may vary and include: Welcome guests and provide them with a really great experience. Guide guests in choosing dishes/pastries, what the products consist of, allergens, how they are prepared, etc. Suggest suitable beverages. Take orders and handle payments. Serve orders to guests at the tables. Assist the kitchen with food preparation. Prepare sandwiches and decorate pastries. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and perform self-inspections. Have good product knowledge. Contribute to ensuring the business maintains a consistently high standard. Who Are You? We are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old, service-oriented, responsible, and attentive to our guests' wishes, and who enjoys doing good work together with your colleagues. Previous experience in similar work for at least one season is a requirement. A driving license and access to a car (or bicycle) would be helpful since public transportation is limited in the area, but it is not a requirement for the position. You must speak Swedish and English fluently. Employment requires that you have a valid work permit and legal right to work in Sweden at the start of employment. To Succeed in This Role We are looking for someone with a great interest in service and passion for providing guests with excellent care in close collaboration with your colleagues in the kitchen and serving areas. As a person, you are positive, efficient, and thorough. It is important that you can plan your work efficiently and that you have a good ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel. We have many visitors, and the work requires you to be stress-resilient and flexible. The work is physical, and lifting is part of the job responsibilities. Working hours are primarily daytime, with occasional evening shifts. Weekend work is included according to the schedule (every other or every third weekend).
