ABOUT THE JOB We are now recruiting summer substitute caregivers for elderly care facilities and group homes in Lycksele Municipality for summer 2026. Working as a summer substitute caregiver within Support, Care, and Services means that during the period June to August, you will work as a substitute in our facilities when regular staff are on vacation. There is an opportunity to start the summer job earlier and get trained during the spring. If you then wish to continue as an hourly substitute during the fall, there are good opportunities for continued work. As an employee at a special housing facility, elderly care home, or group home, you help our residents with service and personal care. The work will be arranged according to schedule—day, evening, or night shifts. YOUR PROFILE We believe in the right competence in the right place. We are looking for someone who is 18 years or older. We consider it a merit if you have education within care and services or equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent, but what matters most to us is that you have interest and commitment in working with people and want to support them in their daily lives. We think it is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have a category B driver's license. As a person, you find it easy to listen, understand, and empathize with other people and their needs. You will be in daily contact with many people, such as residents, relatives, and staff, which requires good demeanor and strong collaboration skills. Working with people means an exciting and changing daily life, and therefore we believe you find it easy to adapt and prioritize tasks according to current circumstances.
