The work of a personal assistant includes personal care, transfers, meal preparation, and various other household tasks, as well as accompanying clients on different activities. You need to be able to work independently and be calm and comfortable with working alone. You have a professional approach and you put the user at the center. You are responsible and have good collaboration skills. In the role of assistant, it is important to be attentive and able to read situations. Care and support are provided based on the individual's needs, integrity, and self-determination. You have a statutory and professional responsibility for assigned work tasks according to LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Disabilities) and HSL (Health and Medical Care Act).
