About the Role As an employee with us, you represent Hornbach and serve as a role model for engagement, drive, and customer service. We are now looking for a sales associate for our building materials department. Your main responsibilities will primarily consist of sales and customer advisory services. With your product knowledge and sales skills, you'll help customers successfully complete their projects. Examples of Typical Tasks • Active sales of products in the Building Materials department • Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within your product area • Responsibility for incoming goods and product displays, as well as maintenance and reorganization of the department • Analyze the department's product presentation • Assist in other departments as needed Your Profile • High school diploma or equivalent, plus retail experience • Relevant professional experience/training in building materials • Passionate about providing our customers with the best possible service • Deliver professional advice based on our broad product range to help customers realize their projects • As a person, you are stress-resilient, flexible, and solution-oriented • Good physical condition as some departments require heavy lifting • Forklift certification (A1-A4 & B1-B4) and driver's license (Category B) required We Offer • Structured onboarding plan • Internal opportunities for qualification and professional development Work Schedule/Duration: Fixed-term, seasonal. Part-time, 6 hours/week. Working hours: 12 hours every other weekend. Salary: Salary according to collective agreement. Start Date: 6/19 - 10/4 - 2026
