At our client, you work to save and preserve the value of various items by remediating, drying and restoring, instead of discarding, demolishing and building new. We are now seeking staff for the remediation team throughout Stockholm with the greatest focus on Värmdö, to help more customers affected by fire, graffiti and water damage. About the role As a Remediation Technician, you meet people when disaster has occurred and help them in difficult situations. The workday is characterized by varying tasks and environments where you work with different types of remediation assignments. At its core, this is a sustainable operation that cares for the environment and people. The workday involves varying assignments and environments where you collaborate with different colleagues on the team. Colleagues share their experiences with us so you continuously develop in your role. Work hours Regular working hours are 06:30-16:00 Monday-Thursday and 06:30-14:00 on Fridays. Because we cannot control when disaster strikes, we work around the clock. For those interested, there is an opportunity to be part of our on-call team and be on standby. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for assigned tasks, has a strong drive and likes to collaborate with your colleagues for the customer's benefit. You do not need to have previous experience in the industry – the most important thing is that you are curious, open-minded and unpretentious. Competence requirements & other requirements Driver's license (required) Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written (additional languages are merits) Passed background check Merits Experience in remediation work, construction or industry Requirements and certification training such as Hot work, Fall protection, Truck, lift and mobile work platforms, and chemical workplace hazards Experience from care and nursing (we often meet customers in difficult situations) Qualities to succeed in the role Team player with the ability to collaborate Responsive and understands the customer's needs Hard-working and curious to want to learn more Represents the company and has direct contact with customers Always wants to do your best Likes to keep things tidy and organized Good physical fitness (heavy lifting occurs) Responsible and values workplace safety and health Certain phobias such as claustrophobia, arachnophobia, etc. can be an obstacle at work.
