Sandeplanskolan is a primary school (grades F-9) with approximately 430 students and 60 employees. The school consists of two buildings: grades 4–9 work in Building A, and grades F-3 as well as after-school care operate in Building B. We have large and excellent outdoor environments that offer a variety of activities and learning spaces for our students. Each grade-level team is organized into a work unit for grades F-3, 4–6, and 7–9. At our school, safety, well-being, and participation are important for both students and staff. This means we value good relationships in our interactions with one another, that everyone should feel involved in daily work, and that each individual has the opportunity to contribute to the school's development. We prioritize good collaborations to together create the best conditions for our students and staff. Our development areas are thinking classrooms, reading comprehension and literacy skills, motivation-enhancing instruction, and health awareness. We have chosen these development areas to increase student learning through curiosity, engagement, and participation in instruction. The student health team works on health awareness to create routines and processes that promote and prevent student health issues throughout their school years. The organizational structure includes a principal and two assistant principals (grades F-5 and 6–9) as well as an administrative manager. 1 position(s). DUTIES We are seeking someone who is qualified to teach physical education and health in grades 4-6. This also includes pulse classes (fitness sessions) in middle school that you will lead together with the middle school physical education teacher. The position also includes teaching one group at Bärnstenen resource school. The position is a temporary contract at 85%, from August 10 to December 18. The role includes mentoring and being part of a team that collaborates around student development. You are expected to be part of the school's development work where you contribute your expertise and abilities. This also means you are expected to collaborate with others and take initiative to develop the organization. QUALIFICATIONS You are a dedicated educator who prioritizes student learning and well-being. You are a strong leader who works to promote safety, well-being, and good relationships. You adapt and stimulate instruction based on student needs and circumstances. In your teaching, you emphasize participation to capture student interest and engagement. You have strong skills with digital learning materials and use them in your instruction. You can see how external events may affect the organization. You see connections between different systems. You take initiative and bring new suggestions for working methods to develop student and organizational learning. You hold teacher certification, and previous experience working as a teacher is a merit. Employment type: Fixed-term contract. Duration: Start date: August 10, 2026, End date: December 18, 2026.
