WORK DUTIES In your role as coordinator for information security, you will have an independent and development-oriented position. You will coordinate work on information security. As coordinator, you work strategically and are responsible for development work on information security by developing new or revising existing procedures, guidelines, and other governance documents. You are also responsible for ensuring that the work is conducted systematically through monitoring and evaluation. You will also coordinate and follow up on operational work in the municipality's operations and serve as support and guidance to ensure they comply with applicable laws and regulations. Your role as data protection officer involves supporting internal compliance with applicable legislation. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have a degree in information security, data protection, law, archival science, or other higher education that the employer considers equivalent. You also need to have good knowledge of current legislation in the areas of information security and data protection. The position also requires good knowledge of administrative law and public access and confidentiality legislation. It is a merit if you have experience in collaboration as well as leading projects or if you have previously held a coordinating role. If you also have operational experience in leading an organization in the development of information security and data protection matters, that is a plus. Experience with information security classifications and risk and vulnerability analyses is also a merit. To succeed in this role, you need to be comfortable working independently and planning, organizing, and driving your processes forward in a systematic manner. You possess an ability to think strategically and constantly strive to maintain an overall perspective. You are attentive, pedagogical, and accommodating in your approach. It is important that you are comfortable having many different contact points and that you find it easy to collaborate and communicate with others. You need to thrive in a consultative role while also having the ability to take the lead when needed, preferably by creating engagement and participation. Type of employment: Permanent employment.
