About the Position We are now seeking a senior security consultant who wants to strengthen our offering in security management, civil preparedness, risk management, and crisis preparedness. The role is clearly client-focused and consultative, with high demands for trust-building work, business acumen, and independent delivery. You work on both strategic and operational assignments and move seamlessly between analysis, implementation, and dialogue with management teams and decision-makers. Location: Umeå, or Örnsköldsvik – Luleå Full-time, Permanent In this role you will, among other things: - Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments as well as security evaluations - Develop, implement, and follow up on plans for continuity, crisis management, and incident handling - Provide advice to managers and leadership teams regarding security structure, priorities, and measures - Identify vulnerabilities in operations, processes, organization, and governance - Conduct or support internal investigations and operational analyses - Conduct security conversations and security clearance interviews - Lead workshops, training sessions, and exercises - Contribute to sales, quotation work, and development of long-term customer relationships Business travel occurs, primarily day trips with occasional overnight stays. About You We are looking for you—an experienced security specialist or consultant with the ability to combine strategic perspective with operational effectiveness. Experience and Expertise - At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in security, risk, continuity, crisis management, security protection, or related areas - Documented experience of independently managing customer assignments, investigations, or improvement work - Experience working closely with managers, leadership teams, or other decision-makers - Strong ability to conduct risk and vulnerability assessments at both strategic and operational levels - Good understanding of continuity management, crisis preparedness, incident handling, as well as total defense and civil preparedness - Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English - Experience with presentations, workshops, and qualified customer dialogues Education Relevant academic education or equivalent, such as: - Police education / background within the Police Authority - Military academy / officer background - Societal Security and Crisis Preparedness - Law Formal Requirements - Swedish citizenship - Ability to undergo and be approved for security clearance - Category B driver's license - Willingness to travel for work Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, we see that you are: - Analytical, structured, and judicious - Confident and trustworthy in sensitive contexts - Business-minded with understanding for the customer's operations and reality - Independent, unpretentious, and solution-oriented - Pedagogical and clear in your communication About CRD CRD Protection is a specialized security company that helps organizations understand, structure, and manage complex threats and risks, from strategy to practical implementation.
