We are seeking two dedicated resource staff members for our preschools in the municipality. This role involves working closely with individual children who need special support. As a resource staff member in the preschool, you will be an important part of the work team and contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and developmental environment for all children. The position involves providing individual support to a child during the day, while also participating in regular activities according to the preschool's curriculum. These positions are time-limited and run through fall 2026. You will among other things: - Provide support to children with special needs in daily activities - Ensure the child's care, safety, and well-being - If needed, handle tube feeding (training and introduction will be provided) - Monitor and manage blood sugar levels using digital tools and assist with insulin administration according to instructions - Support the child during meals, play, and physical activity - Collaborate closely with colleagues and maintain contact with guardians - Always prioritize the child's best interests. You must: - Have training as a childcare worker, youth leader, or other relevant experience working with children. Before employment, a valid extract from the National Police Board's criminal record register must be presented. It is advantageous if you also have: - Experience working in preschool or school - Knowledge of or experience with tube feeding and/or diabetes - Relevant training in care or education.
