Hjortsbergaskolan is located in Hjortsberga, about 1 mile from Alvesta town center. We're right by the lake. Our catchment area is Hjortsberga and the surrounding villages; approximately 85% of students take school transport. Hjortsbergaskolan wants, in collaboration with guardians, to develop active, creative, competent, and responsible individuals. We aim to be a school where every student is given the opportunity to develop their own abilities, create the best conditions for students to be motivated to learn, and be offered a safe place with good structure and high expectations. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a resource pedagogue, you help students who need extra support during the school day. This may involve instruction in the classroom, but also during breaks when it can sometimes be difficult for students to participate in break activities. It may also include some time at the after-school program. At Hjortsbergaskolan, you'll work alongside skilled colleagues who always support each other. We – students, teachers, after-school staff, student assistants, and principal – are looking for someone who is driven and has broad competence. You care about students and are interested in adapting instruction to an appropriate level. For all of us, it's important that you want close collaboration with us at the school. QUALIFICATIONS It's an advantage if you have pedagogical education or are a trained social pedagogue. We especially want you to be able to communicate with students and meet their needs and circumstances. The work includes some documentation, and you'll also be in contact with guardians. Previous experience working with children and feeling comfortable ensuring development toward set goals. We place great importance on personal suitability. We also value good collaboration skills, and it's important that you have your own drive. You should be social and find it easy to create good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. You should be organized, clear, and able to consistently take own initiatives with great enthusiasm and flexibility. You see opportunities instead of obstacles. You see it as self-evident to create conditions for all children so they get good development in a stimulating environment. Employment type: Fixed-term position. Duration: 3-6 months.
