They include preschool, preschool class, primary school, adapted primary school, after-school care, and youth center. Ugglan Adapted Primary School (grades 1-9) is a development-oriented and pleasant facility in Surahammar. Currently, the school receives approximately 20 students. At the adapted primary school Ugglan, students study subjects or subject areas according to the adapted primary school curriculum. We are looking for someone who is positive and has a good ability to create wonderful relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and other staff with warmth and joy. In working toward the goals, it is important to follow common routines combined with creativity and solution-focused approaches for the students' benefit. DUTIES We are looking for someone who is at least a certified preschool teacher/after-school care teacher and wants to work with support for students in the adapted primary school. You are with the students throughout the school day, both during lessons, at breaks, and in after-school care. Together with the teaching teacher, you work closely with the students to create conditions for learning toward the goals and participation in instruction. You work together actively to adapt instruction, provide adequate care, and develop alternative work methods and use compensatory aids to create an accessible and inclusive learning environment. We work together to create a whole with learning throughout the day and a common thread between school and after-school care for the students, and you have an important role in this work. That we work together in school and after-school care where we jointly help each other to create the best conditions for our children/students is our strength. We strive to be a facility with open communication, transparency, and participation. QUALIFICATIONS You are at least a certified teacher with at least the qualifications for teaching in preschool/after-school care. You are a positive person with a good ability to create good contact with students, guardians, and colleagues. You listen, communicate, and solve situations in a constructive way while creating engagement and participation. You easily find forms of collaboration and see the work team as an asset. Furthermore, you are engaged with good social skills that contribute to a positive work climate and have the ability to create trusting relationships. You work from a clear structure and have good pedagogical skills. As a pedagogue, you adapt instruction according to each student's unique conditions and see school development as a natural part of the assignment. To understand students' different needs, you need to have good analytical and pedagogical ability, high expectations, and a conviction that all students can develop. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and previous experience. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Indefinite. Before you can be employed, you must show a valid extract from the police's suspicion register and from the criminal record that is no more than 6 months old. In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the obligation to have a work permit.
