We are currently seeking a sanitation worker as one of our team members is moving on to another position. At the recycling center, we are 20 employees who together manage the collection of household waste, property-level recycling, and recycling centers and stations. The recycling operations are part of Water & Waste, which belongs to the Technical Administration. The administration consists of approximately 200 employees and we are responsible for ensuring that the municipality's traffic environment is safe and accessible, and that Kristinehamn's residents have access to clean, fresh, and good water from their taps. We are also responsible for ensuring that the municipality's children, youth, and elderly receive nutritious meals at our preschools, schools, and special housing facilities. We also manage the municipality's properties and are responsible for strategic facility planning. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES Your work duties will include: • Collection of household waste/recyclables in rear-loading vehicles • Operating vehicle computers, RFID equipment, and reporting discrepancies • Washing vehicles and truck bodies as needed and performing daily maintenance/inspections of vehicles and truck bodies • Delivering vehicles to the workshop when needed • Participating in the service team, container mounting, and order handling. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a valid professional competency certificate and a C-class driver's license. We consider it desirable if you have a driver's license for vehicle-mounted cranes. We see you as a responsible person who handles changes flexibly. You are good at creating a well-organized structure in your work where you plan and prioritize efficiently. Good customer service is important to you, and you treat colleagues as customers in a pleasant and accommodating manner.
