About the Position As principal of the upper secondary school in Laholm Municipality, you will have broad responsibilities and independence combined with shared leadership alongside the assistant principal of Osbecks Upper Secondary School. Together, you and the assistant principal lead, influence, and contribute to developing Osbecks Upper Secondary School with all staff for optimal student development and learning during their upper secondary years. The position involves budget, workplace environment, and personnel responsibility, as well as contributing to the education department's broader development around Learning Laholm, where your experience plays an important role in collaboration with principals of other school forms to help our children and students develop to their full potential. As principal of Osbecks Upper Secondary School, you collaborate with Komvux to strengthen Campus Laholm as a development organization and also work with other municipal actors and externally with the business community. Are You the Person We're Looking For? Requirements for the position include a university degree with a pedagogical focus. You must also have experience from upper secondary school or Komvux. It is advantageous if you have principal training and have completed one of the National School Board's leadership programs in school management or other leadership training deemed equivalent by the employer. You have leadership experience in public administration and politically governed organizations, within independent school forms; upper secondary school or Komvux. It is advantageous if you have experience with both vocational and academic preparatory programs as well as introductory programs. You must have acquired pedagogical insights through both education and work experience. You have conducted development work with others and have knowledge of the business community and the need for collaboration with how society and working life develop over time. You must be fluent in Swedish in speech and writing and be able to communicate in English both orally and in writing when needed. You have good knowledge of IT and digitalization. Economic knowledge is a requirement and means being able to see the bigger picture and how this serves as a management tool regarding both allocation and revenue budgets. A Class B driver's license is required.
