Psychologist for First Line Young North
Popis:
We are now seeking a Psychologist for First Line Young North! Your Workplace Region Värmland exists so that everyone in Värmland can thrive and so that our region is attractive and competitive. We are approximately 8000 employees working with healthcare, dental care, regional development, and public transportation. The Children, Youth and Family Health operational area is a regional activity consisting of over 200 employees and includes operations at Midwifery Clinics, Child Health Centers, Youth Clinics, First Line Young, Family Centers, Child and Family Support, Speech-Language Pathology Unit, and Counseling Services for Victims of Violence. Together, we provide healthcare to the operational area's target groups with a focus on preventive healthcare. Our values are based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the equal worth of all people. Our values guide our interactions with patients and with each other. Now we are seeking someone who wants to join us in making the best possible care for mental health issues accessible to children and youth in Värmland. Welcome to First Line Young! We see children and young people ages 6-20 who show early and mild signs of mental health issues, regardless of the cause. The purpose of First Line Young is, through high accessibility, to offer early interventions or quickly direct/refer further when needed. The activity consists of several clinics throughout the region and is staffed by various professionals such as psychologists, social workers, and healthcare administrators. First Line Young's mission is in constant development. Join us on the journey toward seamless and accessible care for children and youth. The activity will be expanded in the fall with a new clinic, One Way In First Line Young Värmland, which will be a common entry point for incoming cases for all the region's First Line clinics. Your Responsibilities Your primary task is to provide advice, support, and treatment to children and young people with mild mental health issues, with interventions based on a holistic view of the young person's life situation. You identify more serious issues for referral and identify risk substance use and abuse. Parenting support is an important part of the work to enable good development in the young person. In addition to individual interventions, you actively work to enable coordinated support in cases where schools, social services, and child and adolescent psychiatry need to collaborate. The work is performed independently, and supervision is offered as support in individual work. Your Knowledge and Competencies You are a licensed psychologist with an interest in and experience working with children, young people, and parenthood. The work requires the ability to assess children and young people's needs and, based on that, plan and initiate support and treatment. You have experience working in healthcare in an independent position and are accustomed to analyzing, reflecting, documenting, and describing children and young people's needs. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently with responsibility. We want you to contribute with work enthusiasm and take responsibility for both patients, colleagues, and the activity. Additionally, you are flexible and have good problem-solving and analytical abilities. First Line Young North is located in Sunne, Torsby, Hagfors, and Munkfors, which means that work-related travel is included; a B driver's license is therefore required. Welcome to submit your application; interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
