Saab Dynamics in Karlskoga is seeking a project manager who wants to take responsibility for driving our production and development projects forward. Here you will combine technology, quality, and leadership in an important role where you contribute to both our success and that of our customers. Your Role As a project manager, you will drive production projects within development, capacity enhancement, and relocation of production sections at Dynamics so that our customers receive their products on time with the right quality. You will lead and coordinate project team members within production engineering, planning, procurement, production quality, and other production resources, and will also have interfaces with the business unit and development. Your main responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and leading industrialization and/or capacity enhancement projects in collaboration with the Development Project. As part of this work, you are responsible for achieving, reporting, and following up on project objectives and metrics, as well as identifying and managing risks within the projects. Understanding the challenges in different cultures across various organizations or nationalities is an important part of your work, and therefore creating and maintaining good relationships with all stakeholders, as well as regularly reporting project status to the steering committee. The position is based in Karlskoga, and you will be part of our project office, which connects production's commitments with Business Unit Ground Combat. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is experienced in leading, organizing, and taking responsibility and who thrives in an environment where both people and structure are in focus. You have several years of experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment, and you are experienced in driving complex assignments from start to finish. Perhaps you have previously worked in process industry or another form of production, where you have learned to understand the challenges and opportunities at the intersection of technology, quality, and delivery. You have a good technical understanding, preferably with an engineering degree or equivalent work experience. To succeed in this role, you need to be able to switch between the operational and strategic, you have the ability to see the bigger picture while keeping daily operations running smoothly. You enjoy taking initiative, creating structure, and leading others toward common goals. Your communication skills make it easy for you to build trust both internally and externally, and you have no problem collaborating with different parts of the organization. The role involves many contact points, both within Sweden and internationally, and therefore you need to be able to express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing. Since you occasionally need to travel between our different sites, it is also important that you have a valid driver's license (category B).
