Do you want to be part of Sweden's largest infrastructure project? We are now seeking a Project Manager Geotechnics for the Vagnhärad project in Ostlänken. Work Tasks Ostlänken is a 160 km double-track railway between Södertälje and Linköping. You will work on the Vagnhärad project, which runs from the southern parts of Södertälje municipality through the entire Trosa municipality down to Sillekrog. Your task is to lead a technical area in the contract, including management and follow-up of design and production, time and cost frameworks, as well as compliance with quality, environmental, occupational health and safety requirements. You will work with both design and production. Your responsibilities as Project Manager Geotechnics include: collaborate with the contractor to develop new innovative solutions. assist the contractor in solving various challenges that may arise during implementation of these solutions. coordinate, inform and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve the project's goals. contribute to monitoring various activities, both economically and regarding time and quality. act as the client's project manager for design and production on geotechnical matters. manage the implementation of geotechnics in Vagnhärad according to budget, schedule and scope. report to the overall responsible manager. ensure that permits, building permits and similar are applied for and obtained. be responsible for technical follow-up, inspections and final reports with related documentation and good coordination with other technical areas. participate in internal and external meetings. follow-up of the contractor's procurement of subcontractors. You will be managed by the design/production project manager already on site who has overall responsibility for the Vagnhärad project. Work location: Södertälje. We are looking for you who have a university or college education of at least 180 credits (120 credits) as a civil engineer in civil engineering with a geotechnical focus or engineering degree in building construction, or alternatively have other education and experience that we consider equivalent have worked in geotechnics for at least 5 years have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing have a driver's license for a passenger car It is advantageous if you have worked as a project manager or supervising site manager have current knowledge of contract law in one or more of the areas AB/ABT/ABK and AMA have knowledge in other construction technical areas such as roads, bridges, railways etc have worked in management positions in road/railway projects have worked in collaborative contracts have worked in turnkey contracts Other Information Do you want a flexible day with the opportunity to work from home?
