Description of the Workplace The position is located in the research group for radiobiology and experimental radiation biology at the Department of Medical Radiation Physics. The research aims to improve radiation therapy for cancer, and the interdisciplinary research group has members with diverse expertise in oncology, biomedicine, and radiation physics. Read more on the university's website about working with us: Jobba hos oss Tasks and Responsibilities You will work with collected research data from experimental MRI studies, specifically processing and analyzing images. The goal is to establish an image reconstruction pipeline that transforms raw data from experimental methods into high-quality images. Tasks include image reconstruction, correction methods, data collection, programming, and statistical analysis, as well as oral and written reporting. Profile of Requirements Requirements for the position are: - Education relevant to the position's field - Basic knowledge of medical radiation physics - Ability to work independently - Good collaboration skills - Excellent knowledge of Swedish and/or English, spoken and written - Excellent knowledge of programming in Python and/or Matlab Meritorious for the position are: - Knowledge of the theory behind how images are generated in MRI - Knowledge/experience in image reconstruction and programming Other Information The position is time-limited for the period 2026-09-01 – 2026-12-31 and is a 100% full-time position.
