Your New Assignment As Product Development Manager, you will play a central role in driving and developing Demex's product portfolio. Since the role is new, you will have great opportunities to influence how the work should be conducted and what structures should be built. You work both strategically and practically – from advancing ideas to finished products, to developing and improving existing solutions. You will work in SolidWorks, but the focus is more on technical understanding and problem-solving than advanced CAD modeling. You will be out on the factory floor, testing prototypes, monitoring production, and ensuring that function and quality remain at a high level. You will become an important link between production, market, sales, and suppliers – and you will actively contribute to creating structure, processes, and future development capacity. Examples of Work Tasks Drive product development projects from idea to launch Develop and improve products within fencing, perimeter protection, and gates Conduct technical analyses and identify improvement areas Work in SolidWorks with a focus on function and design Collaborate closely with production, market, sales, and suppliers Contribute to structure, processes, and future development capacity About You We believe you have a background in mechanics, automation, or product development and that you thrive in a role where you can combine technology, analysis, and practical work. You are confident in driving projects independently and have an aptitude for creating structure and momentum. You are curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy being close to the product – both in the CAD environment and out on the production floor. You have a good understanding of mechanical systems, motors, and automation solutions and are experienced with product improvements. Others describe you as self-driven, committed, and organized, and you thrive in an environment where you can take responsibility and make an impact.
