Company description: At NKT in Karlskrona, we develop and manufacture high voltage power cables that enable the transition to renewable energy. Job description: We are looking for a Process Engineer for the Material Technology department in Karlskrona. We are currently expanding our team that works to monitor, develop, and support our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with production, R&D, and the materials laboratory. We are seeking someone who is skilled at communication, interested in production technology, and can help us further develop our high voltage cable manufacturing. Our team works to "Optimize manufacturing processes through improved quality, higher manufacturing speed, and reduced production downtime". Your main responsibilities will include: • Monitor production including analysis and processing of process data • Bring forward ideas for improvements/changes and follow up on these • Support problem-solving and root cause analysis • Support R&D and production technology in changes and investments We are looking for someone who is innovative, excellent at communicating with all types of people, thorough, and quality-conscious. You are comfortable in a production environment as well as in a more academic setting. In this role, you take significant responsibility for your own tasks and are self-driven. In addition to the above, you should have: • A bachelor's degree in engineering or higher, though you may have acquired equivalent knowledge through experience • Good knowledge of Swedish and English both spoken and written • Knowledge/experience with calculation or simulation tools, materials science, statistics, or programming Even if you don't meet all requirements - let us know.
