We are now recruiting a press operator for our client in Ljungby. Your Responsibilities In your role as a press operator, you will have a central function in production, where your main responsibilities include performing material pressing according to drawings and production schedules. You will set up, rig, and adjust tools and programs to ensure smooth and efficient production. An important part of the work also involves material handling, where you use a truck to transport materials in a safe and efficient manner. Quality control is another key responsibility, where you carefully perform inspections according to drawings and instructions to ensure all products meet the required standards. You will work operatively with the press, which means you monitor and operate the machines to achieve the best possible results. In addition, you are also responsible for general machine maintenance and other related tasks to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with a technical interest and preferably experience working with press machines. You should be familiar with reading drawings and have an eye for detail. You are responsible, thorough, and enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with colleagues. We want you to have a clear sense of organization and to thrive with independent work. You are responsible, flexible, and positive. You work in a team where everyone together is responsible for ensuring pressing is carried out according to the production schedule. The work involves either 2-shift or night shifts. Forklift certification is a requirement for the position, as well as strong skills in reading drawings.
