About the role and your tasks You are employed in a regular nursing assistant position during daytime (06:30-15:00) with duty every other weekend. You work both administratively and in care according to a set schedule. As a scheduler, you are responsible for planning and scheduling the services that our service users have been granted. The work involves regular contact with service users, relatives, your manager, colleagues, and case workers. You work in the HR portal and Lifecare. We have a coordinator who works Monday through Friday. There are two schedulers who work every other weekend respectively. The position is a permanent employment as a nursing assistant. The scheduler assignment runs for six months at a time, with good opportunities for extension. We offer everyone the opportunity to work full-time, which means 36 hours and 20 minutes per week. In your daily work, you are part of the service users' everyday lives and work to support them so they can live as meaningful, independent, and active lives as possible. Qualifications Trained nursing assistant. Experience of similar work is meritorious, for example within elderly care. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Good digital skills, for example in connection with documentation. Cycling skills are required for work within home care. Driver's license is meritorious. You are responsible, engaged, flexible, and responsive – with service users, relatives, and colleagues. You understand how important it is that each individual is involved and has influence over their daily life. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is important that you maintain calm and focus, even in situations when a lot is happening at once or during rapid changes. You need to be confident in yourself and be able to set boundaries when needed. About the workplace Lund Municipality's home care is divided into several areas. In each area, nursing assistants and care assistants work in teams with health and medical personnel under the leadership of a unit manager. Each area has a unit administrator and scheduler/coordinator. Home care offers service, care, and home nursing services to the municipality's service users who are 65+. Home care in Veberöd is located at Sjöbovägen 25. Here you work close to your manager, nurse, and other colleagues.
