Your New Workplace We are seeking a personal assistant for support and care How You Contribute in the Role of Personal Assistant In this position with this man, you will perform many different work tasks because the client is mobility-impaired and uses a wheelchair. You will assist with transfers and hygiene. You will drive his handicap vehicle so he can participate in various activities. He communicates verbally. He also needs support with several assistive devices, such as a breathing machine (BiPAP), cough machine, Permobil wheelchair, and floor lift. During the night, there is an alarm system he uses when he needs help. You will learn to use these assistive devices independently. Working hours consist of 24-hour shifts with on-call duty at the workplace. You will work alone with the care recipient. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for a man with both life and work experience. As a person, you are thorough, empathetic, attentive, and responsible. It is important that you can see what needs to be done, take your own initiative, and motivate the care recipient toward activities. You should have fluent command of Swedish in both speech and writing. Category B driving license is a requirement. It is advantageous if you have experience with breathing machines and other machines such as lift and cough machines. The employer considers it advantageous if you are a trained nursing assistant or have equivalent care training. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Good to Know Salary: Monthly salary/hourly wage. Individual and differentiated salary setting applies. Terms: Salary compensation beyond the monthly salary follows applicable collective agreement.
