Do you want meaningful work where you make a difference every day? We are currently looking for someone to be a personal assistant to a wonderful and active 14-year-old boy who lives with his parents outside Laholm. You will need access to a car to get to the workplaces. What does this position involve? This is a part-time role with working hours on weekday evenings and every other weekend. During school breaks, there is an opportunity to work during daytime hours. The work takes place mainly at home, alternating weeks between Mellbystrand and Våxtorp. About the client The client is a sports-loving boy who uses a wheelchair and needs support in his daily life with personal care, communication, and activities. He communicates partly through speech but also uses an eye-controlled computer and communication board to facilitate conversation. You will support him with his interests, which include ice hockey, computer games, and doing fun activities. On weekdays, you help him get started with homework. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is cheerful, responsible, and has a sparkle in their eye. You are comfortable working with children and enjoy contributing to both development and daily joy. We would like you to: be energetic, positive, and creative have experience working as a personal assistant or with children have patience and be a good listener be tolerant of pets have good computer skills be a non-smoker have very good Swedish language skills, particularly in speaking have a B-class driver's license and access to a car (this is a requirement) Other information Employment type: For the duration of the assistant assignment Scope: Part-time Working hours: On weekday evenings, shifts start at 15:30 or 16:00 and end at 21:45 or 22:00. On Saturdays, working hours are 9:00-22:00, and on Sundays 9:00-19:00.
