Sydassistans is now seeking an assistant for our client in Skurup. Our client is a woman with intellectual disabilities. She is small in stature and walks with a limp. She eats and drinks independently. She has no verbal speech but communicates through pictures and to some extent through body language. The work includes help with personal hygiene and all other daily tasks. She lives in her own apartment in Skurup and has access to a daily activity program. The assistance covers 24 hours with 6 hours of on-call duty at night. We are now looking for a substitute who can step in on short notice and cover summer vacations or other planned absences. Company Information Sydassistans AB has provided personal assistance to people with disabilities in southern Sweden since its founding in 1994. As an assistance provider, one of our responsibilities is to be the employer of our clients' personal assistants. Guided by the principles of Safety, Respect, and Quality of Life, we work to enable our clients, despite their disabilities, to live as normal a life as possible. Currently, we employ approximately 350 personal assistants. At Sydassistans, we offer our employees training relevant to working with our specific clients.
