We are seeking a personal assistant with care experience for one of Pater Assistans' clients in Horred. The client is a 33-year-old woman in Horred who needs assistants available around the clock. "I'm looking for someone who is cheerful, positive, and takes initiative. You are physically and mentally strong and can handle stressful situations. I use a wheelchair and experience seizures. I need help and support in my daily life. You should be willing to go on walks, cook meals, and do things that add extra joy to my everyday life." The position is located in Horred. The position can vary in scope, so please tell us how you would like to work. The client needs assistance around the clock. You need to be able to work evenings and weekends, as well as day shifts. The schedule will be varied. This position is approximately 60-75% of full-time, approximately 100-130 hours per month. You will work in a team with other assistants, all of whom provide important support to create a good life for the client. During each shift, there are two people with the client. We are looking for someone who is flexible and positive. You need to live in Horred, or if you live outside Horred, you need to be able to drive your own car to work. A driver's license and your own car are important if you don't live in Horred, since public transportation to Horred is limited. You will shadow another personal assistant before you start. We are looking for someone with previous experience in similar work, and personal suitability is most important. You are positive, attentive, and organized. Work as a personal assistant requires initiative and that you are comfortable working independently and are prepared to perform tasks customary for the profession. It is important that you have excellent knowledge of the Swedish language. If you have completed delegation training in Marks Municipality, that is a plus. Interviews are held on a rolling basis – first with the operations manager through a digital video meeting. After that, you will meet the client and the group leader.
