About the Position Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will mainly help the customer with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to a smooth everyday life. Each assistance is uniquely tailored to the customer's life, and therefore work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The customer's individual needs guide the workday, and the work may include, for example, help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. Our customer is an active young man, 35 years old, living in Simrishamn. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant makes high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the customer. You are a cheerful, energetic, and curious person who likes trying new things. For this position, you must have: relevant education in healthcare/care B-class driving license, as you will drive the customer's car as an assistant good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written good physical condition swimming skills For this position, it is advantageous if you: have experience with similar work have experience with sign language communication share the customer's interests such as swimming and outings Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Work Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with varying hours during day, evening, and night on weekdays and weekends. Work hours are 08:00–16:00 and 16:00–08:30 with 7.5 hours on-call time at night. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to the collective agreement.
