Do you want to work with a lovely family in Stenungsund over the summer? A great 8-year-old boy here needs skilled assistants. Are you the person we're looking for? It's great if you can start a bit now and then work June, July, August, and possibly continue into the fall on an hourly basis. Our client has significant support needs, and we now need to strengthen our team with several assistants during the summer when he is away from school. If we get along well, you will also have excellent opportunities to continue on an hourly basis during the fall. We work actively with training and play, but also provide care such as hygiene and meals via PEG. He was born with brain damage (microcephaly), developmental disorder, and epilepsy. He lives with his mom, dad, and older brother in Stenungsund. He has dual assistance 24 hours a day. Assistant's Role and Experience We are looking for you to work as a personal assistant and become an important and safe person in the boy's daily life. He is very comfortable being close – preferably in the arms of someone who is calm and reassuring. As an assistant for this boy, you need to handle medications and know how to act during severe seizures and spasms. He also needs help with hygiene and training. You will receive individualized introduction/training in all aspects of the client's support needs and routines. Desirable Experience Nursing assistant. Personal assistant. Experience with PEG. Experience with EP. Working Hours/Employment Level On an hourly basis – extra as needed when regular assistants are on sick leave or vacation. During the summer (June, July, and August), able to cover when regular assistants are on vacation. Weekday hours: 08:00-14:20. Weekend hours: 8:00-15:00 and 15:00-21:00.
