For one of our clients in central Hörby, we are now seeking personal assistants who can work as needed. Our client is a positive woman who, due to a brain injury, requires 24-hour assistance with overnight on-call shifts. The woman needs help with most of her daily activities, such as getting dressed and undressed, personal hygiene, communication assistance, cooking, housekeeping, participating in activities, going for walks, transfers, etc. The woman uses a wheelchair and requires assistance with all transfers. All transfers are performed using a lift. The client has a small dog, so you cannot have allergies. You who are applying for this position should be responsible, positive, have a genuine interest in helping other people, and be fluent in English. As a personal assistant, you must be flexible, since the work means helping another person live their life in their own way. Your workplace is where the client is located, which means that during any visits to relatives and friends, walks, shopping, and other activities, that location becomes your workplace for the time being. Work schedules are based on 24-hour shifts with overnight on-call duty. You start at 09:00 and finish at 09:00 the next day. As a relief worker, you will work when regular staff are absent.
