Description We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for a 30-year-old woman who needs support to have a functioning and meaningful everyday life. She enjoys grilling, swimming, going to the movies, taking walks, and listening to music. To make her day-to-day life work, she needs support from her assistants who make her everyday life understandable, clear, and secure. As an assistant, you always work with a colleague (double assistance) since the work requires great attention to early detect signals of changing moods and needs. Your Role Your responsibilities consist of providing pedagogical support to the woman in her daily life. You also handle contact with family members, social contacts, and institutions that are important in the woman's life. Social documentation is done digitally. You should be able to work all hours of the day; day/evening/night (on-call) and weekends. Who Are You? As an applicant, you need to be calm and stable with an ability to communicate in a clear and pedagogical way. We believe that you enjoy working according to a structure where details are crucial to succeed in the assignment. Relevant background for this work could be experience in psychiatry, personal assistance, and/or social services. Personal suitability will be decisive in the selection process. Knowledge and experience from low-arousal approaches is a merit.
