About the Personal Assistant Role As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday life and during leisure time. Your workplace is where the customer is located, and your tasks generally involve assisting the customer so they have the conditions to live the life they wish. Responsibilities Your tasks depend on the customer's needs and lifestyle. They can include everything from personal hygiene, assistance with mobility, housework, cooking, to assisting the customer at school or in activities outside the home. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is responsible, caring with children, attentive, and learns new tasks easily. At Särnmark, you will always receive an introduction with the customer and have access to training about the role of personal assistant. Other Information We place great importance on personal chemistry and are looking for someone who can create a safe and positive relationship. Personal chemistry is crucial for the work to function well. About the Employment The employment is for a fixed term for as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the pay structure is hourly wage. Working hours vary based on the customer's needs: day, evening, night (active and on-call), weekday and weekend.
