About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Law on Support and Services for Certain People with Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client's individual needs guide the workday, and your work may include, for example, help with mobility, personal care, exercise and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is responsive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. For you to thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. We are now looking for you who meet the following: want to work with a young man in Vansbro who uses a wheelchair and has unilateral muscle weakness have a B driver's license and access to a car (required to get to the workplace) have good knowledge of Swedish It is also advantageous if you: have experience with similar work have experience working with people with epilepsy or tube feeding have experience working with mobility aids, such as a floor lift share the client's interests, which include film, sports, and music. Working Hours, Employment Rate, and Salary The current employment form is "for the duration of the assistance assignment" with an employment rate of 70-90%. Working hours are flexible and scheduled for day, evening, and night shifts with active time around the clock. All shift types will be applicable to the schedule. Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation in accordance with collective bargaining agreement. Start date for the position is August 1, but we would be happy if you could participate in an introduction before then.
