We are looking for you to work as a personal assistant for a man in his 50s who lives with a spinal cord injury and resides in Karlstad. As an assistant, you will become an important part of his daily life and contribute to creating conditions for participation and quality of life. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference by supporting him in living his life as independently and equally as possible. The work includes everything from personal care, training, assistance with activities, and more. The workplace is in his home and wherever he may be. Work hours are scheduled during both day and evening shifts, Monday through Sunday. We appreciate if you can also work with short notice when needed, due to illness and similar circumstances. Since you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected by and for your specific user, it is therefore important to have good work ethic where everyone supports one another and can work with short notice when needed, due to illness and similar circumstances. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good competence in documentation and maintain a professional demeanor.
