THE WORKPLACE: The residence is located outside Borlänge. Since there is no public transportation, you must have a driver's license and car to get to the workplace. You will be part of a team of personal assistants working with me, an older non-smoking man with a physical disability resulting from a spinal cord injury. I have no function in my legs and hands, with some function in my arms. I'm interested in cars and technology. The work includes personal hygiene, exercise, daily tasks, and helping me live an active life. Since the work will take place in a family setting, it is important to be attentive and responsive. There is a cat in the household. The work involves being where I am and potentially being able to go on shorter/longer trips. We are looking for someone who has - Technical skills - A professional and capable attitude - Easy to collaborate with - A sense of humor - High sense of responsibility and a positive outlook on life - Category B driver's license - Some form of education (theoretical or practical) after compulsory school - A plus if you exercise regularly and speak another language, such as Spanish, German, etc. The number of hours per week varies, with some flexibility in scheduling. The position includes onboarding and starts as soon as possible. You will be your own employer.
