Personal Assistant for 39-Year-Old Woman Sydassistans is seeking a personal assistant for a 39-year-old woman living in Oxie. We are looking for someone who is calm, flexible, positive, and can contribute to making our client's everyday life meaningful. We need someone who can work as needed during daytime, evenings, and weekends. Due to her disabilities, the client requires around-the-clock assistance. The woman has an intellectual disability, autism, and suffers from severe, difficult-to-treat epilepsy. The woman has no verbal language and communicates by pointing and gesturing. You will therefore need to help the woman interpret and understand in various situations. The assistance involves helping with everything from personal hygiene, daily household routines such as cleaning, cooking, shopping, accompanying her to doctor's appointments, going for walks, or similar activities. You should have a genuine interest in helping other people. As a personal assistant, you must be flexible, since the work means helping another person live their life in their own way. We want you to be attentive, positive, and reliable. You will work at agreed-upon times, and there is a possibility for an expanded position further down the line. It is an advantage if you speak and understand Bosnian, but you must be proficient in Swedish. Company Information Sydassistans AB has, since its founding in 1994, provided personal assistance to people with disabilities in southern Sweden. One of our responsibilities as an assistance provider is to serve as the employer for our clients' personal assistants. We work to ensure that our clients, despite a disability, can live as good and rich a life as possible. Currently, we employ approximately 350 personal assistants.
