The Position and Tasks We are now seeking committed and confident personal assistants for a user with extensive care and support needs. We are looking for someone with experience working with neurological diseases such as ALS. About the Assignment As a personal assistant, you work in the user's home environment and provide support based on individual needs and wishes. The work tasks include, among other things: Personal care, transfers and assistive devices such as breathing mask, tube feeding and other support with hygiene, medical self-care measures according to instructions, activities and social stimulation, documentation and cooperation with family members and other professionals The user has significant support and supervision needs, which requires security, patience, and professional conduct. You have experience in personal assistance, LSS, or care and social services, have knowledge of low-affective conduct, and have good physical fitness as the work involves many lifts. You have good computer skills and can manage documentation, and can follow procedures. You have good collaboration skills and are fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing. Experience working with people with extensive disabilities is meritorious. In addition to the above, you are calm, responsible, and have a genuine interest in working with people. You have the ability to create security and build long-term relationships while being able to work in a structured manner even in situations that require flexibility.
