We are currently looking for you to join our great team and work as a personal assistant for our clients in Sundsvall/Bergsåker/Matfors during summer and fall. What does this position involve? We are looking for someone who can/wants to work when one of the client's assistants is sick, at home with sick children, or has other absences. This means you need to be flexible and sometimes work on short notice. Sometimes we have shifts that we know about in advance, for example when a personal assistant is taking vacation. We are looking for someone who has another job at a maximum of 50%, is studying, or simply hasn't found a job over the summer yet. Working as a substitute personal assistant is often a way into the profession while you gain work experience. We work with FrösundaFramtid, a system where you can mark yourself as available when you can work and unavailable when you cannot, and where you can create your profile—for example, if you can work evenings but not daytime, or never on Mondays. As a substitute worker, you will collaborate with our central staffing unit, which is open from 05:30 - 21:00 to fill vacancies with our clients. There is a possibility to work for multiple clients. Working shifts with our clients vary based on their needs. Please feel free to mention in your application if there are times you cannot work. How much you will work varies depending on when we have vacancies and when you are available. In your work, you will often work one-on-one with the client. Of course, you will receive training before you start, but then you will work closely with the client. You will perform care work—that is, help the client with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, housework, transfers, etc. You will be trained by the client's regular assistants. During your work shifts, you will be at the client's home. Our clients have various assistive devices in their homes. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is committed, respectful, and attentive. We would like you to have great patience and the ability to be personable while acting professionally. You need to be flexible, solution-focused, and good at collaborating. The client wants a pleasant, positive, and safe atmosphere in their home, and we are looking for you to contribute to that in a professional way. You will travel to and from our clients' homes, and sometimes you may need to start work on short notice if someone is sick. For this reason, we prefer that you live in the Sundsvall area. We would like it if you: have a genuine interest in helping others. can understand and be understood in Swedish (passed course D in Swedish at SFI). can work flexible hours—day, evening, and weekends. have experience in care and healthcare. (This is a plus, but not a requirement). are a non-smoker. work locations are in Sundsvall and surrounding areas; we prefer that you live in Sundsvall so you can easily get to the workplace on short notice.
