About the position Are you our new colleague? We are looking for a certified teacher with credentials in Mathematics. About us 2047 Science Center works to strengthen scientific capital among the population of Dalarna and is part of the region's strategic competency supply. We are an Arena for knowledge transfer. We operate a popular public experimental environment in Borlänge and run a specialized pedagogical organization focused on STEM. It is this latter organization that we now want to strengthen with an additional certified Mathematics teacher. Together with our specialized pedagogical organization, you will work to strengthen pedagogical development efforts in schools. Through collaborative learning, you will lead teaching development by, among other things, creating lessons (student activities), observing teachers, or modeling lessons to inspire. We teach and inspire from preschool to upper secondary school – and spread interest in science, technology, and mathematics to the general public of all ages. We are looking for someone who: is a certified teacher in Mathematics enjoysworking both independently and in teams is thorough, responsible, and flexible We place great emphasis on both formal qualifications and personal qualities that complement our team. About the role The position involves working with: teaching development directed at teachers and students students in Borlänge and Falun municipalities during our developed lessons (student activities) science center pedagogy in Borlänge to inspire and spread knowledge about mathematics, science, and technology This is a permanent full-time position, 100%, starting August 10, 2026. A six-month probationary period applies. This is a temporary replacement position. 2047 Science Center is located in Borlänge with a branch in Falun, where the activities primarily focus on students in Falun municipality. Some work will also take place at other locations within the scope of our assignments. A valid driver's license (category B) is therefore required. Work may occasionally involve evening and weekend hours. According to law, a certificate from the National Police Board's criminal record register is required upon employment. This is ordered from the Police by the person offered the position.
