IPSU - Individual Pedagogical Support in Education is a valuable and high-quality service that the Swedish Public Employment Service procures with the ultimate goal of taking its strategic responsibility in labor market policy by giving more people the opportunity to complete education in various occupations in high demand. To make educational services accessible for job seekers with disabilities, the Swedish Public Employment Service offers, with our assistance, special pedagogical support in the form of IPSU. Read more about the assignment on our website: www.akgsverige.se As an IPSU Pedagogue, you are the person working closest with our participant under the guidance of our special education teacher. Assignments vary greatly and may involve a pedagogical arrangement where you meet with the participant several hours each day or only a few hours per week. The pedagogical support for each participant takes place at various educational providers, which means a varied and developmental working day. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy a changing work situation. In certain education programs, some lessons take place in outdoor environments. Your task is to contribute to ensuring that the participant has the conditions to complete their studies through special pedagogical methods and the use of technical aids, apps, etc. You are a complement to the regular teacher and are not expected/should not teach or have expertise in the subjects of the current curriculum. The role broadly involves: • Pedagogical work supporting (1) participant in an educational situation • Collaboration and dialogue with staff at various actors conducting the educational services relevant to our participants, e.g., teachers at labor market training providers • Participation in collegial forums, follow-ups, and quality work • Collaboration and dialogue with various actors conducting the educational services relevant to our participants, e.g., teachers at labor market training providers, folk high schools, and preparatory education programs • Collaboration with responsible specialists such as audiologist, special education teacher, vision teacher, sign language specialist, or licensed occupational therapist • Reporting and documentation of completed services in various systems Your working day will be flexible, challenging, and highly meaningful! Formal Requirements and Desired Experience - Documented experience working with people with disabilities in an educational situation for at least one year. - Documented experience working with cognitive aids in an educational situation for at least one year. - Driver's license with own car.
