Southern Scania Regiment P 7 is now recruiting soldiers to 71st Battalion, which is currently primarily tasked with manning Sweden's contribution to the multinational brigade in Latvia (LNLV27). The position involves employment at P 7 71st Battalion where you will be part of a historic mission for the regiment and the Armed Forces as a whole, contributing to Sweden's operations within NATO. We are looking for you who have completed basic training in one of the positions below with passing grades: Armored Terrain Vehicle 360 rifleman Armored Terrain Vehicle 360 driver Combat Vehicle 90 rifleman Recovery soldier Combat Vehicle 90 Medical team leader Bv410 There is no possibility to train for a new position—you are applying with the basic training you have completed. Main Duties Current planning indicates that 71st Battalion will conduct operations within the framework of LNLV. The activities initially include a training phase in Sweden during fall 2026, followed by operations in Latvia during spring 2027. Finally, the concluding phase of LNLV is carried out, after which employment continues as GSS/K as part of the unit at P 7. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Completed basic training with passing grades for the relevant position. Personal Qualities Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
