We are now seeking an Operational Procurement Specialist to join our team within Systems and Energetic Materials, a broad and exciting procurement area. The role is located at Saab Dynamics in Karlskoga, where you will become part of a competent and engaged procurement team. Your Role In your role as Operational Procurement Specialist, you ensure that Saab's procurement strategy, procurement policy, and procedures are followed, while you are responsible for the entire process from purchase request to delivery follow-up. Your main responsibilities include establishing and managing purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and conducting procurement preparation in close collaboration with the supplier team. You are also responsible for maintaining records of procurement items and ensuring that export control requirements are managed and met. To strengthen collaboration with suppliers and optimize the procurement process, you measure, analyze, and communicate relevant KPIs, which contributes to an efficient and sustainable supply chain. You likely have an education in procurement or equivalent experience that has given you a good understanding of procurement processes and developed business acumen. Experience with business systems, particularly the procurement module in IFS or similar systems, is a major advantage, as are broad computer skills and good knowledge of the Office suite. Since you work in an international environment, it is important that you have strong English language skills, both spoken and written, as well as the ability to navigate cultural differences and collaborate successfully with suppliers at both tactical and operational levels. The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to applicable regulations for security clearance at any given time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security clearance placement, certain citizenship may be required in applicable cases.
