The Role of Operating Room Nurse As an operating room nurse, you play a central role in the perioperative care chain—before, during, and after surgical procedures. You work in close collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia nurses, surgical assistants, and other professionals to ensure a safe, secure, and professional operating environment for each patient. You are responsible for maintaining hygiene and sterility, and ensuring that all instruments, materials, equipment, and medical devices are functional and in place. Your Profile We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialist education in operating room nursing who thrives in and promotes cross-boundary teamwork. You have good collaboration skills, a positive mindset, and are flexible in your work style. It is important to us that you have strong work ethics, can take initiative, have the ability to see the bigger picture, can adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain composure in stressful situations. Personal suitability will be weighted heavily. It is desirable that you have several years of experience as an operating room nurse.
