Saab Dynamics is now seeking a driven and engaged Production Manager to help build an entirely new division within Precision Fires. You are stepping into a unique situation where the operation is being established, giving you a central role in shaping both organization, working methods, and culture from the ground up. Since the area is under development, the role will initially have a clear project character, where you will have a central and strategically important position in shaping future production. The role will initially involve a strong focus on establishing and developing the business, with the aim of gradually developing and leading the organization that emerges. Your Role You will have overall responsibility for building, leading, and further developing the operation. The role involves both strategic and operational responsibility where you work with everything from resource planning and production development to coordination between different functions and business areas. Your main areas of responsibility include: Lead and develop production and ensure the right capacity and resource allocation Build up organization, structures, and efficient working methods in an operation under establishment Create conditions for efficient workflows and production processes Ensure delivery capability in line with business and customer requirements Coordinate different functions and units toward common goals Drive improvement and change initiatives in close collaboration with the operation Contribute to long-term strategy and development within Precision Fires Production You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders and serve as an important link between production, business, and strategy. The position is based in Karlskoga, but regular travel to Linköping in particular will be a natural part of the role as parts of the operation are located there. Your Profile We are looking for a confident and engaging leader with a strong ability to create structure and momentum in complex environments. You have experience leading complex operations and are comfortable in an environment where change and development are a natural part of everyday work. You have experience leading operations in transition, preferably with managerial responsibility for managers, and you are comfortable navigating situations where not all conditions are yet in place. To succeed in the role, we see that you: Have solid leadership experience from production or related operations Have good technical understanding and can grasp complex processes Have experience with change and development initiatives Are business-minded and have a holistic perspective on operations and delivery Are decisive, structured, and results-oriented As a person, you are: Communicative and relationship-building Inclusive and unpretentious Clear in your leadership with the ability to engage and motivate You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable security clearance regulations.
