As an Object Specialist, you are part of the team responsible for the Competency Portal, which requires a holistic perspective based on both the system's and the region's best interests. About Us Region Sörmland operates a diverse and comprehensive range of activities with multiple socially important functions. Our largest operational area is healthcare, and the region also provides dental care, culture and education, as well as public transportation and regional development. Supporting the various operational areas are multiple staff functions, including finance, HR, procurement, IT and contracting, and legal services. The HR Staff is part of the Regional Director's Office and is led by the HR Director. The HR Staff has overall responsibility for the region's HR processes and is organized into units: Executive Support for Regional Operations, Executive Support for Healthcare, Work Environment and Competency Development, and Recruitment and Labor Market. Together, we work to ensure that the region's operations receive professional HR support. The Object Specialist position is located within the Work Environment & Competency Development unit; the position can be based in Nyköping or Eskilstuna. Your Responsibilities As an Object Specialist with us, you will be offered an important, engaging, and challenging assignment in a dynamic and development-oriented organization. In this role, you are responsible for the operation, support, development, and coordination of the region's competency development system. You work both operatively and strategically and serve as a bridge between operations and technology. As an Object Specialist, you help ensure that IT support functions effectively, you prioritize measures and initiatives, identify needs for improvements, support users with expert knowledge, and serve as a contact person for questions in this area. In this role, you need an interest in driving improvement and development work, knowledge of how an organization functions (tree structure) and how to reflect that in the system. Experience with "backend" work on systems, the ability to make changes in IT systems, and understanding of where/how they take effect and what is impacted. A significant portion of your position consists of user support, which includes training sessions, digital meetings, email support, and ongoing work on user manuals. Your Qualifications We are looking for you who have: • Relevant Higher Education/Post-Secondary Education in IT or other education that the employer deems equivalent. • Experience working in IT systems with support and development. • Experience working with LMS systems is a merit. • Experience working in a politically governed organization, preferably in municipal or regional operations, is a merit. • Driver's License Category B is desirable as we travel within the county. As a person, you are self-directed, have personal maturity, good communication skills, good collaboration skills, and are flexible and strategic. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
