Lenhovda Health Center is a smaller health center with approximately 2,700 registered patients. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The best thing about working as a district nurse/nurse at a health center is meeting patients of all ages and life situations. We see children, adults, and elderly people who need advice or care. Some we see very rarely and others more regularly. We work from both a health promotion and disease prevention perspective, but also with acute symptoms. Your job responsibilities will include telephone advice, scheduling, and reception work. If you're interested, there are good opportunities to specialize in some of our specialist clinics based on your expertise, experience, and interests. As a district nurse and nurse in primary care, you also contribute your expertise to our on-call doctor center. We are there for our residents, on weekends and weekdays after 5 p.m. Many of us share this responsibility, and we offer you a special introduction to the on-call center so that you feel secure and can develop in your role. For those who are nurses, there are opportunities for further training. We consider it a merit if you have training and previous experience in diabetes care.
