Norra Timber Seeking Machine Operator for Hissmofors Sawmill

We are strengthening our operations with a machine operator for the planer in the Building Products department. In this role, you will primarily work with forklift operation (counterbalanced forklift) where you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for handling lumber packages in the warehouse by organizing runs and managing intake and discharge from our planer. Order and organization are a natural part of your work approach, and you actively contribute to an efficient workflow in the operation. You will be employed as a sawmill operator, which means that other tasks may also occur as needed, for example, work as an operator. Who are you? We are looking for someone with a high school education and experience working as a forklift operator who thrives in a role where forklift driving is a central part of the workday. You are quality-conscious, responsible, and always prioritize safety. As a person, you are a team player with good collaboration skills and maintain a positive attitude. You have a desire to develop and contribute to continuous improvements together with your colleagues. Requirements for the position Completed high school education Category B driver's license Forklift certificate B1 Meritorious Forklift certificate C1/C2 Experience from industrial operations Other information This is a permanent full-time position with daytime work.
