The Culture and Education Administration aims to offer the education, care and inspiration that our young and adult citizens need throughout different stages of life. The Culture and Education Administration consists of two departments - the School Department and the Preschool, Culture and Recreation Department. Activities within the School Department include all school forms from preschool class to adult education as well as student support services. The Preschool Department includes all municipal preschools and family daycare providers, while Culture and Recreation consists of the library, culture school and youth activities. Job Description As an educator at Munkedalsskolan's afterschool program, you work together with trained recreation educators. Under the guidance of an afterschool teacher, you participate in planning, implementation and evaluation of activities within the afterschool program. In the role you help ensure students are involved in the afterschool program's activities and cooperate and communicate with each student in the group as well as guardians and other professional categories. You are familiar with and follow the activities' applicable laws, policies and procedures and document in the operational systems available. During school hours you work together with trained teachers and provide support for students in need of adaptations. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has relevant education for the position; primarily recreation leader training or activity leader with upper secondary education in children and recreation, but other educational backgrounds can also be assessed as equivalent. has experience working in afterschool programs. has successfully worked with students in need of extra adaptations (meriting).
