BAE Systems Bofors now needs to strengthen their assembly department with several new employees. The work is scheduled for daytime hours. Job Responsibilities - The position includes group assembly and/or final assembly of our guns and subsystems where you handle assembly of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic components. - Support with final inspection and service prior to delivery is also a natural part of the position. - The work involves internal contacts and collaboration with the product areas' support functions within production and constructors from the development department. Qualifications - The work places high demands on blueprint reading and the ability to understand complex instructions. Previous documented experience in one of the competency areas of mechanics or hydraulics is desirable. - We are primarily looking for people with experience in mechanical work in some form, such as automotive mechanic/vehicle mechanic, repair technician, assembler, or similar. - We would like to see experience working with LEAN and it is important that you as an applicant are practically minded, have good collaboration skills, and a technical interest. Good knowledge of Swedish is a requirement and we would like to see knowledge of our group language English. You have generally good knowledge of computers and the Office package. Other Information The position involves work that may be covered by defense secrecy, which is why we require Swedish citizenship and security clearance approved by the authorities.
