About the Company: Hallsbergs smide AB has been in operation for over 70 years. We currently have approximately 35 employees. We work within three different customer segments: repair/maintenance, contract manufacturing, and structural steel work. We also perform work directly at customer sites. We have broad expertise in sheet metal processing and machining. Our focus is on small-batch manufacturing such as prototypes and small production runs. We work with standard steel qualities, stainless steel, and aluminum. We are currently certified in ISO 9001, ISO 3834-2, and EN ISO 1090-1, which means our welders hold welding licenses. Due to increasing demand for our services, we need to strengthen our organization with a new team member. Job Description: Foreman for on-site work and occasional participation in assembly (welding). The role can be adapted somewhat to your experience. Primary Focus: Repair/structural steel/(manufacturing components) Based on drawings, instructions, and independent problem-solving, independently lead personnel in the execution of repairs/welding. Structural Steel: From simple railings to erecting steel frames with walls and roof panels, etc. Workshop: Manufacturing components with a focus on sheet metal processing. Your Qualifications: Experience with welding in various materials, primarily black steel. At least 3 years of "on-site work experience" where welding/problem-solving AND work supervision are a main part of your duties. If you hold a welding license in any area, that is a plus. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities since we work with considerable independent responsibility. Experience participating in quotation/tender work is a merit. Work is normally performed in our local area, so overnight stays are not required.
