About the Operation Native language teachers and study guides in Hylte Municipality are organized under the Language Center, which is a central unit within the municipality. Teachers work together here with a focus on supporting students' language development and learning in their native language. The operation collaborates with the municipality's various schools and helps create good conditions for students' development and participation in school. The position is time-limited through December 2026, with the possibility of extension. Responsibilities As a native language teacher, you are responsible for teaching students in their native language in accordance with the curriculum Lgr22. You plan, conduct, assess, and document instruction with support from the learning platform IST lärande as part of a formative approach. Teaching takes place at various schools in the municipality after school hours, either in person or via distance learning. The role also includes actively working with the school's values and, from grades 6 to 9, assigning grades according to current grading criteria. When needed, you may also conduct proficiency tests in the native language and assist with translation of documents and important information for students and guardians. The position is time-limited through December 2026, with the possibility of extension. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is engaged in student learning and development and who has a good understanding of the school's mission and governing documents. You work in a structured manner and adapt instruction based on each student's individual needs. Requirements: Educated teacher with qualification to teach native language and Swedish teacher certification, or equivalent competence as assessed by the employer as equivalent Good knowledge of and experience with the school's governing documents Ability to adapt instruction based on students' varying needs and circumstances Experience with or ability to work with formative learning and digital tools Ability to work independently and collaborate with other professionals within the school Approved grades in one of the following: SFI D, Basic Swedish Part 4, or Swedish as a Second Language 1 Additional Information Selection and interviews may take place continuously during the application period.
